Wrong VAT rate (20% instead of 5%)

Climate Change Levy (CCL) overcharges
CCL should not apply to qualifying low-usage supplies, charities, domestic-use elements, or sites covered by a Climate Change Agreement. Wrongly applied CCL is a direct cash refund.
Unit-rate & standing-charge errors
We rebuild every line of your historical bills against the contract you actually signed — catching unit-rate uplifts, deemed-rate switches and standing-charge inflations the supplier never disclosed.
Estimated reads & back-billing breaches
Under Ofgem back-billing rules, suppliers cannot charge for unbilled energy more than 12 months old. Estimated-read errors and catch-up bills are challengeable and refundable.
Out-of-contract & deemed-rate periods
Rolled silently onto deemed or out-of-contract rates? We benchmark every kWh against the in-contract rate and recover the difference where the renewal process failed regulator standards.
KVA / capacity charge over-provisioning
Half-hourly sites are often billed on agreed capacity well above actual demand. We re-rate the available capacity and reclaim excess capacity charges, typically 18–36 months back.
