All work conducted by Business-Utility.com is classed as private and confidential. Whether you request a quote, a forensic bill audit, or a supplier negotiation, every detail of your engagement is handled with the utmost discretion.

Your data is fully secured. We use enterprise-grade encryption for data at rest and in transit. Access to your information is restricted to authorised consultants working directly on your case.

We do not share your data with any third party. Your business information, billing details, and supplier contracts are never sold, leased, or disclosed to external organisations for marketing, analytics, or any other purpose. The only exception is where we are legally required to disclose information by a court or regulatory authority.

We retain your data only for as long as necessary to complete the service you have requested, or as required by UK tax and regulatory rules. After this period, data is securely deleted or anonymised.

What Data We Collect

We collect only the information needed to provide our services:

  • Business name, address, and contact details
  • Utility, telecoms, insurance, and merchant account bills
  • Meter numbers, supply numbers, and contract end dates
  • Correspondence with suppliers that you authorise us to handle

We do not collect or store payment card details. Any direct debit or billing arrangements are managed by the suppliers we introduce, under their own PCI-DSS compliant systems.

Your Rights

Under UK data protection law you have the right to:

  • Request access to the personal data we hold about you
  • Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data
  • Request deletion of your data (subject to legal retention requirements)
  • Object to processing or request restriction of processing
  • Lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO)

Complaints Information

We aim to provide an excellent service. If something has gone wrong, we want to put it right.

We will look into the matter thoroughly and keep you updated. Most complaints are resolved within 10 working days.

If you remain unhappy after our final response, you can escalate to the relevant industry ombudsman or the ICO for data issues.
