General Statement of Service
This statement explains what you can expect when you use Business-Utility.com, how we are paid, the limits of our role, and how we protect your data and handle complaints.
What we do
Business-Utility.com is an independent business-cost and commercial-funding introducer. We audit supplier bills, tender contracts, negotiate rates and introduce corporate borrowers to lenders. We do not lend money ourselves and we do not provide regulated financial or legal advice.
How we are paid
Our services are free to your business in almost every case. We earn commission from the supplier or lender that wins your contract or completes your facility. The commission is paid by them, not by you. Where any fee is ever payable by you, we will tell you in writing before you proceed.
Our role as an introducer
For energy, water, telecoms, card payments, insurance and rates work we introduce you to providers and act as a broker or consultant. For business funding we are an introducer only — lending decisions, offers, terms and agreements are made solely by the funding companies in our panel. We never guarantee approval or a specific rate.
Data protection
We collect only the data needed to deliver the service you ask for. Your information is stored securely, never sold, and shared only with the suppliers or lenders needed to obtain quotes or process an application. You can access, correct or delete your data at any time through our GDPR page or by emailing mail@business-utility.com.
Complaints
If something goes wrong, contact us first and we will try to put it right. If we cannot resolve your complaint within eight weeks, or you are unhappy with our final response, you can escalate to the relevant industry ombudsman or regulator. Details are on our Complaints page.
